How do I get a receipt for my trip?

To ensure you always have a record of your journey with us, Taxi York offers a convenient way to obtain a receipt for your trip:

If You Booked via Our App or Website:

  • Immediately After Your Trip: Once your journey is completed, a digital receipt will automatically be sent to the email address associated with your booking. Please check your inbox as well as any spam or junk folders.
  • Via the App or Website: You can also log in to your Taxi York account on our app or website. Navigate to the ‘Ride History’ or ‘My Trips’ section, select the relevant trip, and you will see an option to view and download your receipt.

If You Paid by Card or Contactless in the Taxi:

  • Ask the Driver: After the payment is processed, you can request a printed or digital receipt directly from the driver. For digital receipts, ensure you provide the driver with your correct email address.

If You Need a Duplicate or Past Receipt:

  • Contact Us: If you require a duplicate receipt or a receipt for a past journey, please contact our customer support team with your booking details (date, time, pickup, and drop-off locations) and the email address to send the receipt to. You can reach us via email at support@taxiyork.co.uk or through our customer service hotline.
